KUCTE kulakkada celebrated Onam on 26-aug-2022,namely thallonam, involving students, teachers and staff of the school. The celebrations started with setting up of an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) in the stage area that was reminiscent of the agrarian past of Kerala, a South Indian state. Impressive designs and artistic creativity were the hallmarks of the Pookalam, which turned out to be attractive and mesmerizing and took everyone into a world of festivity and fun.

The main attractions of the programme were onappattu, group songs, and solo songs by the teachers and students of the college.  .Another attraction of the day was the traditional ‘onasadya’ that comprised more than 15 dishes served on banana leaves and included varieties of vegetables, rice, banana and payasam.Then another attraction was Thiruvathira Kali by female teacher trainees.

Finally the വടംവലി was the one of the major attractive program by the teaching trainees.the program was cordinated by the college union jwala and it was wonderful experience 

JFFK

Jwala film festival of kulakkada  (abbreviated as JFFK) is a film festival held Kerala University college teacher education kulakkada,kollam.This film festival hosted by the JWALA college union kucte kulakkada .New Malayalam Cinema, Homage and Tributes, Contemporary Indian Cinema, Short films and Documentaries are screened during the film festival. JFFK aimed to screening Film for the school and teaching training students.
